The Alpes Mancelles
When the Sarthe puts on its mountain clothes!
The Alpes Mancelles is a natural region belonging to the Armorican Massif. They straddle the Sarthe, Orne and Mayenne departments. The Alpes Mancelles are characterised by valleys and gorges through which the Sarthe and some of its tributaries flow.
This Natura 2000 site offers landscapes reminiscent of the mountains. It's the perfect place for hiking and outdoor activities!
